Woddy Allen and Space is Finite
June 16th 2006 00:07
“Interestingly, according to modern astronomers, space is finite. This is a very comforting thought-- particularly for people who can never remember where they have left things.” Woody Allen
Well thank God for that! I’m glad that if I lose something, I’ll eventually be able to find it because ‘according to modern astronomers, space is finite’ – but what age did these ‘modern astronomers’ actually live in?
Woody Allen was born in 1935 so he probably said this quote before we learned that the universe is actually expanding (does anybody out there know when we actually discovered this fact? Or if it’s even still common knowledge?), so his ‘space is finite’ theory is probably inaccurate in today’s times.
But if I’m right about this, I suppose it’s bad news for those who seem to lose things easily!
