Tsk tsk tsk. Whoever wrote this is an obvious chauvinistic bimbo. If this claim is valid, then by the same token - women are like bank accounts. I don’t get how such a quote can be said when over the last few decades women have gained more financial independence than ever before.
Women no longer have to consist of stay-at-home Mums or part time secretaries - we’re out there getting degrees, professorships and travelling the world! And now this determination is reducing the need to bag a guy with loads of cash.
Of course if you were faced with two guys with the same personality and appearance and everything else, you’d pick the richer of the two (we're not stupid!), but I doubt that wealth is ever something women rate men on exclusively.
I for example, look at everything else about a guy before I even care about his bank account situation. I think that if your man is on the path to great success (e.g. conscientiously studying a physics degree with an HD average) it shows that he is determined and will eventually be on at least a reasonable wage anyway, just like us women!
