Awww… another beautiful quote, only I wish I knew who it was that wrote it. I think the quote here is saying we have the potential to be angels but will remain as average people living on the ground of the earth until we find our significant other, and then we will rise to the heavens in loving glory!
I think that at the heart of this quote is the romantic love felt between two people. It could also apply to the immeasurable love between a mother and her child, or between bosom buddies since it mentions us embracing ‘each other’ not specifically one other person. But I’d say that the quote intends to be about embracing a life partner, and the love that is shared between them.
So remember that ‘love lifts us up where we belong’, and in this case, love ‘gives you wings’ similar to that rouge coloured bull…
