Our favourite old nut on The Simpsons...
“My Homer is not a communist. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a communist, but he is not a porn star.” Grampa Simpson, The Simpsons.
I just LOVE this quote! Grandpa is so old and annoying, and he’s always rabbiting on about random stuff (like in: ‘I was wearing an onion around my belt which was the style at the time…’), but here he just gets confused completely and responds with something entirely different from the initial topic, i.e. Homer being a communist. I know Grandpa doesn’t play a huge part in The Simpsons, but I reckon he’s hilarious! And I love all his old friends at the retirement home as well.
I think Grandpa is funny because he does a great job at acting how old people act in reality, (in particular, those with dementia, and other old people-related diseases). Although, while us younguns laugh hysterically at Grandpa when he acts like this (which he does most, if not, ALL of the time!), I just know most of us are destined to get a bit cuckoo in the head when we get to his age! But hopefully, we’ll be able to laugh at ourselves like we do now at him!

Grandpa Simpson is perfect in his limited exposure. Any more of him, and he'd be irritating.
For the same reason, I love the Comic book guy and the scientist guy...
