Cindy Crawford Poor? And Bisexual?

"Models are like baseball players. We make a lot of money quickly, but all of a sudden we're 30 years old, we don't have a college education, we're qualified for nothing, and we're used to a very nice lifestyle. The best thing is to marry a movie star." - Cindy Crawford, Supermodel
Awesome idea Cindy! I’ll definitely take that into consideration when I become a model. She does have a good point, but if you were as popular and successful as Cindy Crawford, wouldn’t you just live the rest of your life off the assets you would have gained throughout your modelling career? According to one website, in 1995 Cindy Crawford was earning $6.5 million a year, becoming the world’s highest paid model of that time.
There were once many rumours in the early 90s that Cindy was bisexual, some even suggesting she had an affair with Christy Turlington. This was because the two American models were photographed kissing behind the Roxy nightclub in New York in 1991. A few years later, Cindy Crawford appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair shaving K.d. Lang. She is also a gay rights supporter, openly standing by the Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) group.
Cindy Crawford has been featured on the cover of more than 600 magazines worldwide including Vogue, W, People, Harper's Bazaar, LLE, "Cosmopolitan", and Allure. Crawford also appeared in many fashion campaigns during her career, including those for Gianni Versace, Escada, etc. She was the first modern supermodel to pose for Playboy naked, and did advertising campaigns for Pepsi, Kay Jewellers and Revlon. In Crawford’s prime (the early 90’s) her face was apparently as recognisable as the McDonald’s golden arches.
So lets hope that Cindy Crawford is talking about other models in her quote - you’d hope someone as rich and famous as her saved some money under the mattress for harder times…
