I think when referring to the body as a rental from Hertz, it’s also implied that we are careless with our bodies, not just that we don’t understand them. There are an immense amount of people out there who abuse their bodies – drowning them with alcohol and drugs, overeating and not to mention the current obsession with perfect body weight - leading to induced bulimia.
Studying human physiology at uni has led me to realise how amazing the body really is and makes me wonder why many people don’t really care about what’s going on inside these incredible machines we inhabit, and why more people aren’t interested in looking after them. In the latter case, all we need to do is just abide by this simple, fundamental rule of being the healthiest you can: EAT WELL and EXERCISE.

A beer is good. A lot of beer isn't.
