Buddha Quote

Today’s quote by Buddha taps into our constant need to worry about the ''things that were, things that are, and some things… that have not yet come to pass…’' (can anyone guess what movie that quote is off?)
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly." – Buddha
And how right can he be? In today’s society, there is too much to be concerned about. We worry about mistakes we have made with regards to careers, relationships and moving house. We’re anxious about getting through university to secure a good job, or the concern to be socially acceptable among our peers. All our great ancestors worried about was attaining their next meal, or keeping predators at bay. Although I’m sure both tasks were hard and tiresome, we are faced with much more complicated issues today. I think we should all just try and chill out every once in a while, and to remember and appreciate the simple things in life – good food, good wine, and good conversation.
