Bisexual Dating

September 6th 2006 04:31
Bisexuality immediately doubles your chances for a date on Saturday night. – Woody Allen

Another classic from Woody Allen! He makes a very good point though, if you‘re bisexual you can check out both sides of the spectrum and have double the options. Sounds great but I don’t know, do bisexuals have a preference? Is it like, girls are hot but I’ll settle for guys if there’s a chick drought? Or is there some sort of rotating cycle… it’s Thursday – dude night.

And why do you bat for both teams anyway? Is it for just a bit of fun on the side or do you plan on living with your lover of any sex? And how does commitment work? If you finally reckon a guy is worth settling down with, would you be forever checking out chicks and maybe decide to switch later on?

Bisexuals have always intrigued (and also confused) me. Give us some answers.

I don't know how bisexual I am, but Kinsey and Freud reckon everyone is bisexual, and that it's just a matter of degree.

Note, also, that a lot of people distinguish love and sex in the bisexual world. Eg you might fall in love with women, but not be sexually attracted to them.

Bisexual and polyamorous is clearly the best way to be... Why dip your toe in the water when you can have the whole ocean (Batailles)? Why restrict yourself to one dessert when you can have the whole buffet?

I've often wondered about that myself... how the committment thing worked.

I find both men and women attractive, but I am definitely not bisexual. The few times presented with an opporunity to explore that side, I went running for the door!! haha.
