Well I can’t stand the taste of beer so I wouldn’t know. But regarding the consumption of alcohol in general I must agree – people do look more attractive when you’re drinking. Well maybe not more attractive, but more, how do I put this politely… shag-able.
And I don’t think it’s about their rate of attractiveness increasing in proportion with the amount of beers you’ve had, rather it’s your perception of their physical flaws decreasing. For example, when you’re tanked, an otherwise substandard-looking dude with a bad haircut and a gangly body can look well groomed and buff due to you not being able to see him straight, or, in fact, looking at someone else entirely – which I find sometimes happens to me.
I heard from a Gina Riley & Jane Turner skit once that sex was founded rather late. Alcohol was created first and with it came the desire for sex, as it does.
