Arthur Bloch and machines...

“If you improve or tinker with something long enough, eventually it will break or malfunction.” - Arthur Bloch
Arthur Bloch is an American writer, author of the Murphy's Law books, and this quote applies to me for sure! A recent example would be when I had a Physiology practical the other day and as we were getting a lecture about what to do I clicked on something on one of the computers, (which had apparently been set up perfectly for the prac) and yeah, I basically buggered it up.
But I didn’t mean to! I’m sure there are heaps of people out there who are just interested in playing with machines to see how things work. But yes, more often than not you’ll cause something to cease to function, followed by a whole lot of screaming from your sister about how you don’t appreciate people’s things and to stop fiddling with the printer, or the TV or her iPod…
